Just guessing. Rotate them inward (toward the centerline of the car) 90 degrees. Left one rotates right 90 and right one rotates left 90.

I'm fairly certain I have them oriented as they should be, although I can experiment.

Anybody know if the Boxster bumper is identical to the 911? These mounts supposedly fit both, but I'm wondering if they should have made different parts and just got lazy...

Here are a couple more pix. I believe this orientation is correct, as the forward facing tabs mate with the bracket. Also, this position matches the contour of the bumper best.

Yes, the R & L are obvious. And I believe they are oriented correctly.

Does your adapter sit vertically?

I believe those are on upside down. There should be an "arrow" molded in each block for "up". When properly installed with the backing plate the whole assembly should tip out just a bit on the top side. See the pic of my car in post #33.

I don't have any arrows on mine, but they definitely aren't upside down. If I rotate them 180 degrees, it is most obviously wrong.

Try flipping them over and swapping sides.

Today i stopped by a Car show in NJ sponsored by county prosecutors office. All traffic and parking was directed by on and off duty police/state police. I stopped and asked for parking directions and info on the show. Not a single person asked where my “required” front plate was.

I managed to get it more vertical by placing an object between the bracket and the mounts at the upper contact point.

Yeah something is not right with your blocks then. Where did you order/buy them from?

Pelican. They are the OEM variety.

I have the Porsche bracket but I have not been able to find screws that are short enough not to poke into the bumper paint when the wind pushes against it driving.. It looks lousy but I zipped tide for now. I'll get back to later.

I just mounted the craven tow hitch on my 12 CTT...the parking sensors go haywire (was already struggling with them on my bike rack, solutions welcome)

I’m going to return it. Get some black thick zip ties and 1/2 inches rubber washers and just mount under the LCA, will look like its floating and the rubber washers should take care of any rattles.

am I crazy?

Also any suggestions on Thule tow hitch bike carrier and parking sensor?
