My power steering coupler on the pressure side failed and damaged the wire mesh. I need that. I small 20 cent part will cost $300+ to replace. Got to love it.

The little wire basket/retainer you are looking for are also used on the clutch line connectors, 999.230.541.10. I will take a look and see if you can retrofit one of these connectors onto a steering line. When I was replacing a clutch line a couple of months ago I had to take off one of the connectors and getting the retainer out in useable shape was a pain.

You can get one of these connectors from DC Auto for $50 used but not sure how good the retainer will be, or Sonnen shows them for $87, which is 38% off and as they are new they should be disassembled.

Kind offrustrating for a piece that should be less than $1.00.
