I’m not talking about the whole car lift. They have some lifts that look like they would meet both jack points and lift half the car.
Otherwise what do you use to lift your car?

Had this one for about 9 years:
https://www.amazon.com/Compact-Aluminum-Racing-Jack-Rapid/dp/B009SX8494/ref=asc_df_B009SX8494/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309705947946&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12962651105139961171&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026941&hvtargid=pla-569972873405&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/Compact-Aluminum-Racing-Jack-Rapid/dp/B009SX8494/ref=asc_df_B009SX8494/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309705947946&hvpos=1o3&hvnetw=g&hvrand=12962651105139961171&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026941&hvtargid=pla-569972873405&psc=1

Gets the job done.

Also the handle separates in half and makes a great breaker bar.

I've used a Craftsman aluminum floor jack for about 12 years. Very reliable. I don't think Craftsman actually made it, I think it's a rebrand of some other company. The one time I had to buy a simple part for it (part of the universal joint in the handle/valve assembly cracked), the same part was listed for Omega, Michelin, Pro-Lift, and Blackhawk. I don't know if you can buy this anymore since Craftsman is in a questionable state. Schwaben makes some stuff that looks almost identical.

HF low profile steel jack in the garage.

Goodyear-branded aluminum mini-jack at the track.

No issues with either.

I use hockey pucks on them as "pads".

Harbor Freight 3-ton low profile is low enough to slide right under my sump plate and jack the car from the center member. It’s perfect. And cheap.

I currently use an Arcan jack that I bought at Costco in May of 2015.
Previous to that I had a Craftsman jack for about 6 months.
It failed without warning while in use, so I threw it away.(I was angry when the intercooler it was raising, suddenly dropped on me)
Before that I had a Craftsman jack that I'd owned for 27 years.
I should have kept it, but wanted a larger heavy duty jack.

If I were in the market for a jack today, I would buy one of these:

I keep thinking about buying one, even though there is nothing wrong with my Arcan.
If I had a little more room, I'd get it just to have a second jack, but then again I also could use a transmission jack...hmm...

FYI, I did a bunch of measuring between the regular HF low profile and the Daytona low profile. I found that the HF version had a bit more reach to access the car from the rear. I don’t think the Daytona will clear the sump plate.

One caveat is the type of suspension on your car. Mine is stock, so the M030 folks might have an issue with either.

Measure twice and cut once!

I have coilovers, but they're set to about stock height.
I've been thinking about lowering my car just a bit.
I probably need to measure first.
My last car(BMW 135i) was stock height (sport suspension) and I had to drive it up on a board in order to get the Arcan jack underneath to the center jackpoint on the subframe.

I have a 2 ton 'Larin' brand aluminum. I've had it 13-14 years and I think it came from Costco. I put fresh oil in about five years ago and other than that, it's been trouble free.

What kind of oil do you use in your jack? DT40? Mobil 1?

I have stock suspension, 03 C4S, and the daytona (https://www.harborfreight.com/3-ton-...nge-64241.html) is perfect for me. It fits under the sump to the cross beam pretty easily. Got it on sale one day (as you usually do at Harbor Freight).
