I had a harbor freight 1.5 ton aluminum racing jack but about 10 days after the 90 day warranty expired the high pressure piston cracked and it was spraying hydraulic fluid under load.

I never buy anything over just a few dollars without using a 20% off coupon.
There is always one available here:

Usually they expire several months in the future.
Current one expires June 24th.
There's also a 25% off coupon for this coming weekend.

I don't know if you can buy this anymore since Craftsman is in a questionable state. Schwaben makes some stuff that looks almost identical.

I have the same lift. Awesome tool. I’ll never get rid of it.
What I am looking for is the type that will hit both jack points while in the middle. Harbor Freight has them although I don’t believe the intended purpose is to lift cars. Maybe motorcycles.
Has anyone found one that will do this?
Even if it needs a little welding modification.
Please let me know what you have and where you found it.

I have bought 3 Harbor Freight jacks and I am no longer buying them. I use them a lot and the first one started to creak and tilt after a few years. That one got tossed before it killed me. The second one started to creak after one year and the third one creaks after a few months. When I have thrown these out, I am going to buy higher quality brand names ones. Bad jacks kill.

"Bad jacks kill."

Jacks don't kill, people do...

AC Hydraulic. Great quality, low profile, long reach, extra high lift, easy to lower. Pricy, but would highly recommend it.
