I guess everyone isn't information and Data junkies like we are. I am still envious of you having your own PIWIS !! lol
We had 2 nice PST2's at the shop before I retired. When PIWIS came out, on the last update for PST2 there was a software "bomb" hidden in the software that after a month disabled the PST2 making them useless. It was such a shame because even though it was much slower than PIWIS, it had several features/functions that on a 996 were not included in PIWIS. A couple very smart Techs figured out how to turn them back on, but was quickly shut down by Porsche lawyers... I understand Porsche wanting to keep the information/data proprietary, but thank God for OBDII !! At least they are forced to give the public that easy to get Data, and most people just take it for granted.
The point to this was to collect a lot of this valuable Data on these specific engines to find trends, evaluate performance gains/losses, that can be used by it's self or in combination with Dyno tests.
I think I may have misjudged this subject, just let it die....
Thanks to Coopdoc for posting his Data and others who were intending to do so, but I don't think we will gather enough data?

I love data! It is handy having a PIWIS, there is a whole world of PIWIS and even people building their own PST2 Bosch units as well! Although whats missing in PST2 that PIWIS doesn't have? I've always read that PIWIS has everything + more??
Don't let the tread die - shame on those who aren't on board!! I'll post my data next weekend as my car is in storage. I'm actually quite curious to see what value comes out...

I've only had a 996 for about 3 weeks and a Durametric for a few days but as soon as I figure out how to extract this data I'll post mine.

Did some pulls on an uphill slope and collected the following from the Torque pro app. Mine is a '03 996 all stock except sport cats from Carnewal and mufflers from Fister.
91 octane pump gas in CA. A/C off.
Year: 2003
miles: 78k miles
Displacement : 3.6L
Max MAF : 252.5 g/s
Intake air temp : 102F
Ambient temp : 56F
Barometric pressure : 29.4hg
Altitude : 666ft
Max VE: 98%
Edit: more pulls. Got 312.8 g/s while intake air temp was at 77F. Not sure how consistent the max MAF numbers are. Max VE at 102%. For simplicity, I entered 3600 cc in torque (which is used to compute VE I believe.)

I wonder if it's related to the sampling rate. I use the OBDlink bluetooth adaptor, which returns 8-12 PIDs per second. Do you know your sampling frequency?
Would be nice if someone can log MAF using Durametric, which has a much higher sampling rate.

I have my app set for "faster communication" and "no MPG calculations" which is suppose to give the fastest sample rate, but I don't know the actual rate, where do you get that rate?
Yes, Duratmetric/Piwis/PST2 all would be a lot faster sample rate than any bluetooth, but the bluetooth is so convienient, I hope there are not inconsistency's..
BTW I am using ELM327 Bluetooth device
EDIT : found the sample rate data menu, I'll get the sample rate tomorrow

I don't recall clearly now but I think I observed that sampling rate when doing data logging using Torque with the OBDlink scanner. I don't think I have any issues with my setup because I can see the very clear O2 sensor voltage pattern with great resolution.
