Yea, it's not good to run the engine with a bad cat. P0430 is cat low efficiency in bank 2.

Due to that cat being dowsed with fuel, and oil.

When switching oils or after buying a call with unknown oil, I will perform 2 sequential oil changes if the new oil is affordable (such as Mobil 1). I make sure it’s fully up to temp on the first change, drive it spirited fashion, drain and refill.
