Replacing interior Trim?
#32
If you guys were going to re-glue the interior wood trim parts on (ie the small piece above the nav in the below photo) what type of glue would you use?
Thanks!

@ peterp nice, thanks! I just ordered some.
Question # 456:
Does anyone have any experience pulling the pin which holds the door pocket lids in place so I can swap them out? I posted an image below to help show this. Thank you

This was not easy. After you remove the door panel you need to use a small punch with a hammer to get the pin out. Punch from outside to inside lightly just keep tapping it. If you just want to replace the fascia/covers I recommend unscrewing them right while attached to the door then screw new ones I. If I remember there are 11 toro screws

Hey all, on to the next project. This one seems like it might be the hardest yet. Thanks for all your help so far.
How would you go about replacing the parts in the photos below. This is the trim right on the top of the dash right underneath the windshield. I am replacing this because the original wood trim here is cracked and broken (shown in photos). I am replacing with a standard Savannah tan part which did not have the wood trim to prevent this from happening in the future. Thanks!

The wood pieces are laminate and can be heated and pryed off. The dash pieces as far as I know you have to remove the entire dash! I hope someone else has a different solution for you but they are held on by torx screws underneath.

Yes that's true but he wants to replace those pieces that the wood adheres to! Look at the pics he provided. I would suggest to remove the wood pieces and just clean up where they were laminated to. OR you can craft replacement pieces or use stickers. MUCH easier than trying to replace those dash pieces.

@Dranon, yesir it looks like its going to be a huge project. Ouch! Should have done some research before buying these parts second hand.
Any cool ideas what you might put in the place of the wood trim? Maybe I could have something custom made.
