Default pics of my black 996 with newly installed aero kit

Hi guys, I just got my car back with the front bumper and side skirts installed. Sorry the cars so dirty I haven't had time to clean it in ages. (1 month to be exact). I will be putting on my other mods next week when I get back from a business trip. I wanted to take a picture of these when they were in my entertainment room because it was sooo funny. I had the room set up with the front bumper side skirts, intake, gt3 wheels, steering wheel, pcm unit, shift **** and side sills all lined up to look like a car sitting in the middle of the room! I've only put on the bumper and side skirts for now but i plan on putting the fabspeed intake, b&m short shifter, rims (as soon as i buy some tires) pcm unit and side sills this coming weekend.

FYI I got it painted and installed by Vertex Motorsports in McLean, VA and they did a GREAT GREAT job~ Paint job was 350 for everything and installation was 150. The owner is my friend so he cut me a deal. I'm sure he'll work something out if anybody else brings theirs there. Cannot recommend them highly enough~~ hope you like the look~

Looking good.... The wing and the wheels will complete the car. Do you plan on lowering it? Can't wait to see the upgrades.....

I hope you don't park that car in that overflowing parking lot! I suppose that would explain that door ding on the driver's side of your car though... I hate that!!!

Looks gorgious. But I can't help feel it would look even more gorgious with a tail fin.
Nice one.

Before you do anything more to that car get rid of that frickin ding. That would annoy the hell out of me, especially since you see it everytime you open your door.

ding dong schming dong... I'll get rid of it when I start washing my car I've been reluctant to purchase the 99 gt3 wing as posted above because my two friends with porsches both have that wing on their car. I'm thinking of the gemballa wing, but a) I can't find the price and b) I don't know where they sell it.

Do you think the aero gt3 wing looks better than the newer gt3 wing or the strosek, or gemballa wing?

Looking good parkman. I'm sure I'll see you around. I'm in NoVA quite a bit although I usually drive my S4. Will you be bringing that car to the local PCA events at Summit Point? Registration for the 1st event started today, btw.

Hey KJ,

You almost gave me a heart attack with your post about DE registration starting today! Then I remembered that was only for the first event, which I'm not planning on going to. (Too cold for both me and my tires!)

But now I'm putting in the starting dates for registration for the other events into my PDA, so I won't forget them. I'm really looking forward to the Shenandoah ciruit being open.

=Carlos=

P.S. BTW, the registration opening today for Summit Point was only for instructors. The unwashed masses get their first shot tomorrow, according to the PCA Potomac web site.

Carlos,

I hope you have better luck than me. I registered yesterday and am currently on the waitlist.
