I installed this Bluetooth gadget on my Becker radio so I can BT stream music over the AUX source. The nice things about this solution is that you preserve the look of the old Becker radio and that you don’t have to tap any wires or anything. The install went pretty smoothly despite the somewhat dodgy instructions. Plays pretty well so far, but we will have to see.

Scott, thank you for introducing us to Speedy, In the early days, we were rooting for Speedy to stay in the stable. However, now Speedy is a full fledged RL member. Speedy is strong and trustworthy and ready for action (whatever that may bring)!

Today was get the Seattle Gundo Hack done. I've been going back and forth between sending out for the Fister set or go inexpensive and see how I like it. I frickin love it. Took the car to a good 'ol hole in the wall muffler shop that has been in the Des Moines (WA) area for 20 + years, explained what I wanted, showed a few pics of ones already done and left the car. Phone rang 6 hours later and voila, I got the Hack and it sounds perfect to me at all ranges. $240 total and I didn't have to mess with soaking nuts and bolts and fighting to get it apart, let alone put it back together where they actually matched hanging heights, lol.
Sorry, no pics. I didn't see the need since they are all over the place anyways and not really a pretty mod to show IMO. BTW: He used 1 1/2" pipe.
Some day I'll do the whole exhaust, cat system when $$$$ allow, but for now this rocks my boat.

Default Any good shops near Chicago as I am looking to do few mods

Has anyone found a good shop near Chicago. I have heard of Fishers, Midwest(pricey ) and just called about German Auto repair. I need to replace a top, get a gundo/Fister exhaust and swap out the suspension for a coil over set up? Any thoughts or someone to help me with the projects.

Thanks Randy.

I had my doubts at times. I did my best to mess things up too. The AOS debacle and subsequent "fix" taught me some lessons.

The fact that I had to press him into duty a bit earlier than I had planned was also a concern. So far, I have not been disappointed.

Drained the oil, collected a sample and dropped the sump plate yesterday. Will do some internal inspection today. So far, all looks good.

Wow. Your car looks amazing with the CH-R wheels and I don't say that often. Have any pics with a scenic background?

Love the look of CHs, might be my personal favorite wheel. I had a set on my VW R32. It seems like they only make them in 19s though and I don't wanna go bigger than 18s.

Left has been wiped clean. Right is as found. After 3500 miles, barely any buildup.

Wiped into the paper towel. Nothing nefarious that I could see.

Oil change. First since going to spin on adapter and mag plug. Collected oil sample. Not sure if I will send out or not. I guess after almost 7 years owning the car not sure if I was to head down that rabbit hole.

Everything looks incredible! Looks like the fender roller did the trick. Those wheels look like they were made
for the car. Love your garage setup too!
