It's wild how totally different these car look when they shouldn't be that dissimilar. Narrow nose vs blocky nose. Thin body vs stocky body. Most of which is attributed to the angle of the photo and the wide angle lens that was employed.

Drained transmission oil. But more importantly drained oil and dropped sump plate. Been having odd oil pressure issues so wanted to check it. All looks good. Found some small brownish pieces of plastic bits, don't think IMS related, but trying to find some refernces to similar bits by searching threads.
Process was a bit of a messy pita, and just crossing fingers my loxtite application was sufficient.
Cracking the plate.....

Changed Transmission and Front Diff fluid, added Rennline spacers, cleaned fender liners, and replaced some liner hardware. Recently had brake lines and bleeder screws swapped out as well.

No. I just changed the water pump a month ago and it was in perfect condition (which was surprising as it was probably the original from 100k miles ago).
Yeh, that's what I'm thinking. I'm hoping since so few, and likely pan was never dropped before, or if it was, it was a long long time ago, that I don't have anything major to worry about (this was all done to try and figure out a oil pressure issue in a different thread). The only weird thing I found was that small brass looking little disc with a hole in the center.

Some of the support struts on my spoiler are cracked (it was like that before I bought the car) so I pulled it off of the car today and dropped a spare in that I picked up from a local wrecking yard or whatever they're called nowadays. It came off of a silver Carrera and the silver just didn't look right on the back of my white car so I hit the spoiler with a quick coat of black plasti-dip before mounting it up. It looks decent enough for the time being. Now to get my regular spoiler to the body shop...
Them's the breaks!
Not too shabby looking for a wrecking yard spoiler covered in plasti-dip!
This would be a better glamour shot if my Carrera wasn't crammed in the garage between the Taos and the ladders, but at least it's in a garage! My poor Flex is out there cooking in Arizona Sun. Sorry Flex...

Received my Covercraft UVS100 folding sun shade. I was informed on good authority that this is the same manufacturer that made the OEM sun shades for these cars.
Wow. These are really nice. Thick, firm, insulated board. Nicer than any sun shade I've ever used. Easy to install. Not a floppy mess like others. Folds away neatly for storage in the car for easy reach. The fit is custom to these cars. Not the one-size-fits-most like you get from those at the auto parts store. $100USD well-spent, especially living in the Southeastern US. The car is stored in a garage, but it bakes in parking lots when out and about.
I'm gonna order some for the other cars at the house.
