What does the process entail? And why did you do it? I also have a black C4S with noticeable swirl marks in the paint.

it eliminated all my swirl marks and light surface scratches... basically reapplies the clear coat...

I will have my detailer do similar work to my 996 after I purchase and have the body kit installed. What sealer did your detailer use? My guy uses a ceramic top coating. It adds about 2mils of protection.

$600 was the price. Its hard to before and after because i never took any close up shots of the car before. well worth the money... especially on a black car.

Had mine corrected and ceramic coated last year....made an amazing difference. Looked like the PO washed it with Brillo, lol. Not cheap, though.

I have a black car and it desperately needs this done. Black cars have these swirl marks, just about no matter how we clean them.

Im looking for a place in Chicagoland to do this, but everyone I talk to says to try a local dealer here for $259. I’m scared to do that. I don’t think I’ll be happy.

Murphyslaw1978....look for a shop that does automotive films and ceramic coatings. They must do a good prep job on paint before they can apply these things....if you just want a good detailing/paint correction without ceramic coating, I am sure they can oblige.

Milne is white color and will never achieve that wet look regardless of how I polish it. However, it is the easiest color to maintain.
Yours is lovely though and it shows all the hard work put into it

Not a fan of black because it never looks good if not maintained...However, once its corrected I really don't think anything beats it! REally beautiful car!

Luigi, that looks amazing! I have a black C2 and am looking for similar treatment by a good shop in Southeastern Michigan. If anyone knows one, please pm me.
