Default New Pin for clutch fork longer?

Confused on why new pin longer than stock one that is in there? I purchased updated clutch fork/ arm from pelican- any help appreciated

I remember on my 1999, that was was a TSB out to upgrade the clutch fork attachment pin. I believe the original was kind of T shaped and the new one was not and was actually stronger at the attachment points.

I looked at the difference between the two clutch arms / forks - the updated one vs stock is the difference in pin lengths- New not as thick where the slave cyl pin hits as stock arm

There are multiple parts that need to be replaced, not just the updated pin.
