Yes, but you also have to change out the aluminum bumper under the skin to work with the different style bumperettes. In addition, I needed to get MK2 exhaust tips which are bit longer but everything else I just used what I had before. I think it just brings the rear together real nice.

Here is another angle....I am trying to find a rear/side shot that shows the flow of the rockers to the rear bumper...really integrates nicely...I think its actually better than the Mk2 Aero rockers.

Hard to beat the clean pure lines of the narrow body C2, unfussy, unembellished and classic.

And I will never understand why people try to hide the fact that it's a 996 by putting headlight covers on to apologise for the characterful lights of both the.1 and.2. Be proud of your car, not embarrassed for it to be seen for what it is...I removed the ones on mine within hours of owning it.

Agreed. But when you can't afford the GT3 (or it doesn't make sense as a DD), Mk1 aero will do

Then add GT3 coilovers and lower to GT3 specs

Lovely but I'd paint those bumperettes.

As I former owner of a 996 C4S, it's still the one that gets my vote. It has the sexy wide hips of the turbo, but clean lines with the smooth rear fenders and the lack of a rear wing. In my opinion, the red reflector strip looks outstanding, and the way it connects the tail lights is a great tribute to the air-cooled cars. The red reflector strip looks completely out of place on the newer cars.

A close second for me is a MK I aero car. There's something about the simplicity combined with the mild aggression offered by the aerokit that really appeals to me.

Nothing beats the 996.1 gt3, but the 996.1 nb aero lowered is nice as well.

Default Struggling, to taco or not to taco.....

I recently removed the taco and I think I prefer the look with out it. I am curious what others think.
