Default WTB 1997 Turbo

i been itching to get one for my collection for a while now, but just never seem to come across one fits my requirements. wanted to post in here in case anybody would entertain selling theirs:

- year: 1997
- exterior: not black or dark blue
- interior: black only
- miles: under 20K
- one owner preferred, two max
- sunroof delete (this is a must option for me)
- no body damage or paint work of any kind
- no aftermarket modifications

desirable factory options: leather, carbon, rear viper delete, delete model designation, rear seat delete (not sure this was an option)

not desirable factory options: wood, cellphone handset kit, cd changer, console cd storage...

if all of the above conditions are met, just name your price

thanks...

Given the strict criteria and potential budget, you may want to seriously consider a TTS instead.

I can help with a Silver/Blk TTS, with most of your desired options, (rear seat/viper delete, 8K mi., leather, carbon, etc). PM me if interested.

i found this and been thinking on bidding: http://www.goodingco.com/vehicle/199...che-993-turbo/

the problem with this car is that it was built August of 1995. right after the factory re-opened after the summer break. this makes it probably the first 993 Turbo made for north america (if not first, easily in the first dozen) and i am kind of afraid to buy such an early car. also the fact that it had four owners makes it a bit suspect...

I think that is a particularly striking color combination. If the records are there, I would not necessarily be put off by the number of owners. I think you should be able to tell if it has been meticulously maintained.

First Turbos made for N.America were actually built in early 95 (Feb/Mar). Mine is one of the first batches to come into Canada, build Mar 95.

I wouldn't be concerned about an early car. More about how it was stored and maintained with that low mileage.

100% it's not the same car. I inspected the car at length last night. It's an honest, original paint example. A plain Jane color combo and almost no options, so not my cup of tea. If anyone wants the very thorough breakdown with photos and flaws just PM me.
