I'm one that likes that interior. I have something very similar wrapped in blue. I too was searching for an arena red with tan interior, but settled on my Midnight Blue car.

Your car cost almost as much as mine new. Crazy! That Rootwood option is extremely pricey.

Enjoy in good health.

Very nice find especially purchasing from the original owner, I think the color combo and options work well too, very classy and period correct. The car looks mint! I've been really growing to appreciate cashmere on darker colors too. Congrats!

Very nice. More shots of that unique would be great.

Thanks again guys
I'll try to get a couple more photos up later.
Other than a few rock chips (repaired) and typical scuff marks on the drivers seat bottom left bolster and wear on the upper drivers bolster, the car is flawless. I had PPI done but it was pretty much wasted money as the PO had it serviced yearly and it had been extensively gone over just prior to being put away for the winter. I had to coax him to get the car out of storage a few weeks early so I could get a look at it. He owns a beach house and the miles are mostly highway between his home and beach house. I don't have any delusions that I didn't just buy an 18 year old car but it sure looks and feels like a practically brand new car.

The 944 I understand is a great handling car for the track!

Even in stock form, it's nice to be able to stretch the turbo's legs a little on the track. I won't drive at higher speeds on the street, have out grown that, and hard/frustrating to drive these cars sometimes at normal speeds. I don't think they can be enjoyed fully street driving...

I agree completely, that's why is going to be tough to resist!

More pics
One thing I've never liked on US 993's is the offroad look, gotta fix that soon.

MY mom's cat he ended up laying down in the drivers seat and taking a short nap, so I'm pretty sure he digs it

By the way: I briefly owned a Syclone many years ago and kicked myself for letting it go. My daily driver is a low 12's-high 11's Sierra Denali. I call it "The White Whale"

+++++100 on that. There is no better way to get intimate with your car than on a good track. The rewards are immense. You don't have to drive at the limits or abuse your car to have fun. I still love my car and could never replace it, so I only drive about 80% or so of what I could just for that reason. Brakes and tires are pretty much all you'll wear on the track at this level. Go all out and you be delving into clutch/trans and more. You'll also meet alot of good people who share the same passion for speed.

What's done to the Denali? I've been a modified Typhoon owner for the last 10 years.

-Whipple 2.3L GM truck kit with 3.125" pulley making 11.5 psi peak boost. (Completely stock 6.2L L9H long block)
-Kooks long tube headers with 3" y-pipe and high flow cats,
Electronic cut-out before muffler
-Alky Control methanol injection system with custom 2 gallon reservoir.
-Gearstar Performance upgraded 6L80e transmission with a Yank custom triple disk 2600 stall converter (1.7 sec. 60')
-custom tuning (HP Tuners) by me with many many trips to the track
Other than various tuning things (3 bar map sensor, relocated IAT sensor, boost-a-pump, 65lb/hr injectors, boost and wideband air fuel gauges) the rest is just a stock 2010 AWD Sierra Denali.

By the way, I like your username. my first car was an 86' XR4Ti that my dad and I built.
My other toy is an 86' Sierra Cosworth clone with a Cosworth YB and WC T-5. I have been overhauling the chassis over the past year and hope to get the body prepped for paint this summer. Once I'm finished, it will be 95% true to a Sierra (I'm doing the single rear glass too). The motor is mostly stock for now but I have an RS500 intercooler and a GT35R turbo waiting to go on. I'll likely go with a 330hp kit from Europe.

Nice car! I wonder why they went with the silver brakes.
