Both the front bumper and tail are cf Getty pieces. (I've posted before but can't get the link for you on my iPhone - another one of my DIY threads a little while ago). Since I put my twin oil coolers in under the bumper, i thought extra air flow would be a good idea and just cut slits in the bumper. Thought about just cutting a hole and using mesh but I thought this looked neat, and is different from the ruf type opening..

Did you also "paint" inside of front trunk lid, door jams etc?
Cheers,
Mark

Cheers,
I thought about it but didn't in the end. One of the reasons I went with a colour that's no too different from original. I think the dip is weakest on edges so I did do multiple extra coats along the door and trunk edges from the outside, so it sort of blends in at the door jam and looks pretty good. I'll take some pics later today when I get home.

How did you find the end finish? I have shot my set of winter wheels twice, and the surface has quite a bit of texture. I am not sure if it was my technique (likely) or that is the natural way the product drys. I noticed on their youtube videos the surface seems quite a bit smoother..

Cheers,

Mike

Mike, it took me a few coats to figure it out. I added coats to smooth out the finish over most of the car. If you are spraying too thin (have the sprayer set to spray too light) or spray from too far away, the paint starts to dry before hitting the panel and you end up with a little rough/coarse feeling finish. Spraying heavier/closer makes the finish smoother. Next time we get together I'll show you the different texture on parts of my car!
