where I race there is one 993 gt2 replica and several 996gt3 cup cars but they do not even come close to the 993 ... there is one top 996 driver that makes similar laptimes as the 993 but i'm sure that if you put him behind the wheel of the 993 he would be faster , only the 997 cup cars are faster than the 993 .

Brother, if you gone to do it, stick with this, 996 chassis=watercooled engine/993 chassis=air cooled engine.And be done with it!!!!Cheers.
