Hello, my name is Filip and i'm from Belgium .After I sold my 968 turbo rs replica I'm now starting a new project .To make a decision on the route to go I need to get an idea on the value of a 993 gt2 spec engine and 6speed lsd gearbox including gt2 intercooler, oil coolers and EFI ecu .Engine and turbo's are completely rebuilt .I hope someone can give me an realistic idea of the value of this package.

maybe selling , are you guys sure about these numbers ? It is not a complete car just enginge ,gearbox and the hardware that comes with the engine .

30-35K Euro, about the same as a regular 993 turbo engine and box, maybe less if it is modified making it less desirable to the largest market (ie for stock engines)

If it is wearing this intercooler it is very likely a "proper" race engine which I guess means probably not what most prospective purchases would want to put in their road cars however it must surely have high value to teams currently racing 993 GT2s - these are the people I would solicit first.

I was just about to ask the OP what he means by "GT2 intercooler" but then I saw the picture . That is indeed a real intercooler.

It would be great with some additional information of this "rebuilt" engine and rebuilt turbos. If it's EVO spec or if it's an early GT2 build or what it is.

Just like Toby says it's a much smaller market for this engine then a standard 993TT engine, however for the right buyer it's worth a lot more.

I would potentially be interested in this engine.

we had jochen rohrs 993 GT2 EVO race winning car , along the way accumulated some spares. i think jochen had found the guy who built the intercoolers for jochen's rebuild project and had them build oen or two extra sets. i beleive we sold the intercoolers alone for $12000 USD new. my guess is that the motor alone if right and correct is probably worth some 4o to 50kusd alone.
