All I am saying is that a rear-drive only Turbo is more likely to get squirrely on a wet road with the power down than a AWD turbo. I have had plenty of experience on "getting into a pickle" in the rain and frost in 911's (given where I live), and I find the AWD on my current car really helpful on straightening the car out while under power, especially if the roads are slippery (like the first rain after a long dry spell). While the option of a 2WD 911Turbo or BTR may be great for dryer climes, I would not recommend it for most-season driving here in B.C. If you only drive your car when the roads are dry, then sure, the impact is much less.
