Breeze vs T-Bar clamps
I need to upgrade my clamps for the Turbo - and I have a few others up here in Vancouver who also want to do theirs.
Breeze clamps seem to be a favorite, with CT300's at the top, and CT250's at the bottom.
Also, T-Bar clamps are often mentioned.
The question is, which are better? I like the T-bar clamps since a thread/bolt seems stronger than a screw on slots on a band - but the temperature adjustment on the Breeze seems to be unique.
What is the concensus?
Cheers,
Mike

I've always used T-bar clamps on my high-powered turbo vehicles. I've had great luck with them, but have not tried the breeze clamps. Looks to me like the breeze clamp design wouldn't hold quite as well, but that's just what I've gathered from looking at it.

I have no experience with T bar clamps.
The breeze clamps are so-called contant torque clamps. That means (As long as the springs are not completely compressed) the clamping force remains constant dispite contraction or expansion of the system.
I have never had one fail.

I have used the T-Bolt units on all my Turbo cars (P-car or otherwise) and like them a lot. I tired the constant torque units once and came away less than impressed. Nothing "wrong" with them, just not excited about them. IME with the T-Bolts, the band is wider, so it should have more surface contact with the hose, for whatever THAT is worth. They seem easier to tighten and manipulate in tight areas. Overall, I just like them better. Quadcammer is right though, for the boost pressure most of use run, it shouldn't matter all that much.
I buy them from my local NAPA to save on shipping, but up in Canada, you may have no choice but to ship them. Linky:

I have a few sizes in the garage, I'll have to check what they are. All of my intercooler piping is 3" diameter, so a lot of them are in that size range, but I know I have some smaller clamps as well.
