Default Interior Mod 993 Inner door panels -Pics-

I have seen and liked the interior door skin swap so pretty sure I am going to do this as well....

My debate is wether I go Carbon Fiber as seen in pic below or a leather RS like set up also see below...

I plan to do Carbon fiber door sills and may or may not do carbon fiber dash area. It currently has a peel on carbon fiber kit that was on the car when arrived, lighter silver that I will either remove completely and try and clean what lies beneath or replace with a new better carbon dash set up in darker carbon weave and better quality. (from Marcus) I do like carbon but don't want every inch of the inside carbon....

the RS style simple and plain and like that as the car has a lot going on as is etc...

Open to input, pics of other options etc... (leaving stock not an option.) Have sifted through the interior car thread and some nice set ups.

pics below.

Mick,

I think the CF door cards would look tremendous on your car. Should be a nice touch to the blue interior as well.

another point to take into account may or may not be what grazes the door car as you enter and exit the car?
I had a nice leatherr doorcard on mine an it just seemed to get wrecked from passingers not watching what they rub on my doorcards. Marks and wear led me to the same question

Do I want the CF ones, the RS ones or just replacements

CF won the vote - It just stands up to more abuse, I think it would last much longer
and and and.... Be lighter as mentioned by GODSPEED

I had my carbon door panels covered in 3m clear bra before installing them to protect them from stray shoes/seatbelts/etc. worked like a charm

I think the carbon covered in 3m is the best choice; lighter, durable and looks great!

cost about 1700 to do them and cut out necessary holes or you can DIY a couple hundred cheaper. but i think marcus' panels are around 1500 (8 times the cost of non carbon)
