Now with factory rear Turbo S ducts.
I gained confidence in her correct completion, they impressed me by many 'over & above' efforts, such as disassembling related portions of a 993 Turbo S for examination - more than once! wow - & consulting an Andial expert in person.
I took the following. It's the specific 993 Turbo S that was partially dissected & studied for installation of Speedy's OEM Turbo S rear inlets.
If you recognize where this collection is or who it belongs to, DO NOT post that. I got special permission to share, for enthusiasts' enjoyment of the cars, not for ID of the owner.

Glad you found it helpful. I scanned & posted that to the "Brake Ducting DIY" thread.
It's real. It's from my Porsche 993 Tequipment sales booklet.
REAR Turbo S ducts. For those who love the look of the rear ducts, & have Kevin's mentality...
...there's a lack of installation photos & info regarding these Tequipment ducts.
I took these 959 photos. I've taken 993 Turbo S shots, but only from the outside; even close-up they're worthless. Anyone have Turbo S OEM installation shots without panels in the way?
AMGkit.com's Porsche 993 Rear Quarter Brake Ducts: "These steel brake ducts force air through to cool the brakes and engine. Comes with brake ducts and installation instructions."
NRauto.com's 993 Turbo S Rear Quarter Steel Brake Ducts: "Our rear brake ducts allow for both brake and engine cooling when air is forced through the duct. Complete with template and installation instructions."
I've e-mailed both businesses, asking for follow-up photos or the advertised installation instructions -- no response. I talked to the owner of NR Auto long ago; he said they were installed on his below red Turbo & had a custom install to cool the engine. He said he wasn't familiar with the details, though, & had sold the 993.

Sharp eyes may have caught the above GT1 in the corner.
My 993 used to shack up with that wild child
posted to the "Brake Ducting DIY" thread.
Somewhat OT, but deliciously gratuitous GT1 pix from the above thread & related to the air ducts' functioning:

Another data point: I paid >$1,200 USD in 1998.
If you haven't seen it, you may find 2008's "Turbo S inside rear wheel well: brake ducting" thread helpful.

the ducts in some earlier cars were more than cosmetic. The ducts for the 964 Turbo S Leichtbau ("Lightweight") are both better made (for example, they have a fine mesh cover just inside the duct), and also functional.

This is the trd I was looking for
great job and awesome mod,
but still didn't find an answer the question I have in my mind….
What are they made for?(I mean after the air gets in below the fender, where does it go?)
Anybody with X79 or TTS that could make light in my shade?
Pictures are always welcome.

I pondered them as my car has gone in for a mini restoration but decided I like the cleaner look without.
It's funny, where there's holes, people want to fill them (washer jets, sunroof). Where's there's no holes, people want to make them (S ducts)!
