Been messed with, factory engine dyno tuned Ruf motor will not shoot flames like that......
WTF is the point with that "dyno" there is no cooling over the intercooler, what can be gained by the excercise apart from shooting some flames ?

Manthey was never involved in racing the 993 turbo platform in fact IIRC he has never built race turbo Porsches, just the N/A ones.....

His ECU is probably from Ansgar Weissen who did his electronics for a long time.

Regardless, the flame coming from that car is nothing like the one above it is a result of the pipe coming straight off the turbo without any muffler, a Ruf R should have full cats and muffler system and will most certainly not perform the flame thrower impression depicted from the OP

Easy Allan. TB has done more for this board than most will ever dream of and knows more about tuning and cooling these cars than most and has all of the data to prove it. Do your homework before you flame - literally.

Who cares what he has done, or knows.. I didnt ask for what he knows. I simply posted a video of a nice car on a dyno shooting flames. I didnt ask for his opinion of how the dyno was operated, if the car was an untouched RUF etc.

I can gaurentee you that Ive owned 10 fold the amount of Porsches he has.. that my cars have made substantially more power than any off the shelf Andial car and Im not on here throwing my 2 cents around on everybody elses posts..

My RUF isn't a flamer. Not that there is anything wrong with that...

It's still a forum isn't it? Posting something you can expect some response. Don't take it personally (oops too late).
