I cant figure it out so I have decided to let fate decide. I bought both a 996TT and 993TT knowing I would only be able to keep one. I cant decide which car to keep after driving both for a few months so I am going to post them both on ebay in the next couple of week and let fate decide. Whichever one doesnt sell - I plan to keep it. The 996TT is the better daily driver. The 993TT is a car which for me will always be the best porsche ever made. I am not trying to flip the cars - selling for exactly what I paid. If anyone is interested send me a PM. The 993TT was previously owned by Tony (Spidey 993 - super nice guy). As always PPI's are welcome.
The basic stats:

Front end respray for rock chips

Both cars have pros and cons. The 996 is the more comfortable car as a daily driver. Its also much faster with the UMW tune. The 993TT is the best looking porsche ever made and tons of fun to drive. As I said - difficult to choose.

Well you have a dilema. On this board we will all say sell the faster, better daily driver. On the 996 board it will be the opposite.
You will always be able to pick up another mint 996 but will you always be able to do the same for the best looking car ever made? Maybe.
Soon you will be able to buy two 996 Turbos for the price of one mint 993TT the way the 996's are heading.
I also drove a 996TT before buying this car. yes it was faster and a better car, but the looks mate................the looks!
I feel sorry for you!

I would unload the 996, they are great DD, but a dime a dozen and they are still dropping in value. The 993 has taken it's hit long ago, even at those miles it will hold it's value better.
(I would have kept the 930 and sold 'em both, but that's a different story.)

No brainer, sell the 996TT. My opinion is unbiased as I don't have either cars.
The only problem is the selling price of 996TT will be much less than what you may anticipate.

However, once the 993tt tops 100k miles, the value will drop even more. So- good time to sell?

I showed my wife your photos and asked her which one should be sold, she pointed straight to the 996...."Don't like that thing, what is it?"!!
993tt looks awesome, keep it.
