My White Turbo

My White Turbo
I bought this car several months ago but never had the chance to post some pics. It's a 1997 Turbo with around 32,000 miles to it now. As far as I know, it is still all stock. The exterior color is Glacier White and the interior is blue (I think it is a color to sample but don't know what blue it is so would appreciate it if someone can identify). The ride height is still stock and would appreciate your recommendations too on what to do. Thanks!

Install either HD Bilstein's with the appropriate springs, or install PSS-10's. Search the list, there have recently been threads on the merits of all approaches (check the 993 forum as well - more discussion there).
Nice car!
Cheers,
Mike

Go pss10's, I regret trying to save a few hundred on my Techart (eibach) & 4 way Koni's, I'll have one on soon & the ability to adjust right where I want.

Nice car, definitely needs to be lowered. Can't believe that was is stock ride height for North American cars. Looks like it set up for off-roading. As far as I know the blue interior is not a paint to sample colour, It came on many midnight blue cars. I think it looks great!

Mine is a 1996, also with 32,000 miles and the same blue interior. Agree the interior is not color to sample. Some feel the blue is an acquired taste but I do like it a lot with the white exterior. Congratulations!

Thanks for all the inputs and recommendations! Will have to research on what shocks and springs to choose for the car.
Mat28, congratulations on your new car too! On posting pictures, I learned how to do it by reading the posts in the Rennlist help and test forum. You can even test post pictures there to see if it works.
Steve, wow we have twin cars then--white with blue. If my dash is colored midnight blue, would you know what is the name of the color of my seats? Is it called light blue?

Mat, very nice! And you have sports seats--am envious. It looks like your interior is very similar to mine, just that my seat color seems lighter. Your car looks pristine. Enjoy!

Hey Mat,
I have the sister the car. I can't imagine there were more then a few, maybe only two, '97TT, Artic Silver, Rubicon Grey, w/ sport seats made (only 612 '97 TTs imported).
Oddly, your car very lived close to me (Carlsbad), but I never saw the car out on the road, I only saw it on ebay, he was asking $75k ish?
Highly reccomend the PSS10s. Ride very comfortable set on 2/1 w/ MPS PS2 N3s. I make an annual trip to Laguna Seca and the ride is very comfortable for that long drive.
PSS10 cost: $2500 parts, $700 labor, $500 alignment to include kinematic toe. Also recommend Gert's front protection bar.
Where are you located?
Let me know if I can help with anything..
