Come on, Oliver. Two words of advice:

1) Leaf
2) Blower

Another problem solved! Next. I'm here all week!

I got the real thing my friend, and I can assure you that I don't get a drop of water inside the car, and by the way I live where it rains a lot.,cheers.

Quadcammer,

Back in the old days of ran gutters, they were also there for structural reasons... that's how all the manufacturers used to attach the the roof to the sides. Modern construction doesn't use that method any longer, and nobody seems to miss the gutters. Porsche 993 and a few pickups were the last to use the old construction technique.

I know this is anecdotal only, but I talked to LeonS a few years ago about his turboR with the rain gutter delete. Water dripping on his head when he opened the door was the ONLY thing he didn't like about it. And, given the fact that he was a Brit, he wasn't afraid to take his car out in the rain.

A Porsche rep told me it is structural on our 993's as well. So, be careful with this mod...

Also, modern cars do have rain gutters; they just don't look like gutters anymore.

That was called hand-made, hand-made Porsche. No more

What the rain gutters are three pieces of metal coming together as one,no welding in here.Actualy when you do this mod you reinforce this area by welding these three pieces together, making them stronger,in my case this is more augmented by the sunroof delete and the IRC, which make the body 100% more rigid.

Alot of opinions.. but no one knows any kind of quotes..
sunroof delete and rain gutter delete at the same time? anyone?

Maybe too hard to quote just these items..
I guess if I could, I would also delete the headlight washers and rear bumperettes (fronts done already) and then just get a full respray!!!

No need to delete the rear bumperettes, just have them color matched to the body. It looks great and gives the Turbo a little update. Mine are done, and I love the clean look. Eric at Bumperplugs does great quality work.
