Anyone know this car from Henderson, NV?
Its a 97 silver/blk with 59K miles.
The owner appears to have a yellow 996 turbo aerokit also from the engine pic also. Does it belong to anyone here? Stories?

I guess you could search around the for sale classifieds at the various forum sites and try to dig it up. Needle in a haystack.
This particular car looks pretty tidy in these fuzzy photos.
You could cross search on 996 forums to see if you can spot the owner by the location.
I like Polar Silver and this car looks straight and mostly unmodified except for the springs as noted. Reasonable miles, reasonable price if it's a one- or second-owner car and in "excellent" condition -- give or take whatever you find in a (very thorough) PPI.
All the conventional wisdom/advice on buying a Turbo applies.

I got an email with the car fax and pics from seller last week but then the correspondence stopped. The car apparently sold to a buyer in Seattle. The carfax showed a few owners along the West Coast, AZ and NV but nothing derrogatory. The car looked really nice and the transaction went so quickly that I wonder if the buyer even bothered to get a ppi, leakdown/compression done.
Pity, the car was exactly what I was looking for in terms of options and mods......yes even the exposed mysterious crossbar in the trunk, whatever that was????? But that's how it goes. Congrats to the new owner (as well as the seller). Hope you get much enjoyment out of it.
