That's a very nice Turbo. The current owner came on here a few months ago, and gave us some of his ownership experience.

 

New clutch at 29K and new gaskets and seals....Why??

 

^I'll look for the old post, but basically he wanted to make the car "like new". Had the money to spend. IIRC, his wife bought the car for him. How cool is that!

 

Think the owner of this SY 993tt is not serious. Call it what may, but I had brief exchange with the seller, where the price, shot up from $59,999 to $65,000. Within minutes of initial contact, seller sends chaser: car is undergoing 30k miles service, took it to the dealer this morning. Therefore the new price $65,000.00!!

Though the car seems attracrtive, yet it aint worth what really sounds like hassle in the offings. Me thinking...hum?!: Drop it man! Besides, I've always been of the view that a 97 model is better built than a 96 (1st gear shaft/trans issue).

Just found the owner/seller is member here....join recently, his sigle post was related to sale of this same car, back in 2009.

That's just wrong. Enough right there to walk and not look back.

 

I could perhaps understand increasing the price to reflect the servicing cost but even at inflated dealer prices, that ain't $5k
