Bravo for enjoying your 993 as it was intended to be. This is one of the many things I love about the 911 and their owners whom haven't missed the plot.

One would never see a 993tt, let alone an "S", out in the salt and snow in Canada. We use 996's for that!

Ronnie, i lived in MTL for 8yrs (McGill U)...at the time i wish i had the money to have a 993, instead i ran a M6 and Range Rover. We also use to go to TO (Forest Hill) alot - i remember seeing a couple nice cars there, even in the winter.

Now on my second 993, many miles in the rain/snow, all i can say, is that they are made for rough weather, and would have been as good as the M6 and Range Rover!

Take yours out, snow tyres and it's all good.

That's not an "S". Looks like an "S" rear wing and duel tips. I don't see an "S" badge nor the side air intakes. Still a wonderful car.

^Maybe I'm wrong. Sure hope he was not planning to put an "S" badge on a non S car:

Looks like a turbo with an "S" package. I do believe I see the "S" vents in the rear quarters.
BTW......Very cool pics

regardless of whether its an S or not (gotta say not) Impressive use of the car. I pulled mine out of the garage last weekend on a touch of hardpack with street tires and I almost had to winch it back in. That said, I think keeping these cars as garage queens is a complete travesty. I think puttng that turbo to that kind of use is beyond what its creators intended and truthfully think it is great. WELL DONE!

My turbo is not a true S, however it was spec from factory with all the S goodies except for the carbon interior and was built at the special Exclusive Dept.

Hence, it has the factory X50 power upgrade (including additional oil cooler, exhaust tips, ECU), X79 air inlets in rear side panels, Y75 aerokit II, etc.

Non factory mods incl. Dansk 100 cell cats and RSR Carnewal exhaust
