Thanks to FD and Vortex for being so easy to deal with.
Looks like I'll have it up on jack stands and start turning wrenches over MLK weekend.

Dave,

Looks like you're missing a few parts:

964 424 055 00 bearing plate (#24)
928 424 005 01 angular joint (#16)
964 424 011 31 front shift rod (#15)
964 424 131 02 shift tube (#27)
964 424 028 00 (x2) plastic bushings for shifter box (#28)
999 178 007 02 (x2) retaining clips for shift tube

But maybe some of these items are in your picture and I can't see them...

You have Viper Bob's instructions, right?

RWD is a good upgrade for the track, but can it be reversed? Seems like it would kill the resale value if it can't.

Yes, very easily reversed. It's a simple half-day job in either direction.

I love the handling of the car in a RWD setup. Agree with previous posters that the trans mount makes a HUGE difference, especially on the track.

Cool, I wish it was that easy on a 997TT

Dave, you need the forward rod (part of the shift linkage) and the "bearing plate" that bolts to the body.

If you are going with the original setup (and not an SSK that eliminates those nylon cups) let me know. We might be able to help you there.

Those shift parts are stupid expensive when buying new from Porsche. We may have some used parts (for free) for you if you need them.

I have the instructions, but it seems I am coming up short on the parts.

I paid Vortex Motorsport $1000.00 bucks and was trying to add up what was so expensive and was scratching my head. Hopefully there was some kind of mix up and it'll get sorted.
