Carfax even shows that the title was washed. Should be an easy case for a competent lawyer.

Default 993 tt salvage

when the car arrived I was away on vacation I had it put right into storage. when I returned I had it brought to my local dealership for service just change all fluid take care of a recall under warranty etc, about 10 minutes after I had the car sent there via flatbed they called me yelling "what the hell did you buy !" the ran the car fax after looking at the car and seeing some clear problems within minutes. They were shocked as before having the car brought in I had told them all the BS the dealer told me about how I found that perfect car etc etc, they were exited to see it.

im terribly sorry about your situation.
I would sue them without question. Dishonest car dealers (or others that pray on the emotional value enthusiasts put on their porsches) are often bullies and will only respond to pain. A good lawyer will set them straight.
pls let us know.

I'm very surprised that they are unwilling to return your money. I would understand if they expected you to eat the shipping charges but refunded the rest. As you already know by now you "should have" done a PPI, ran a Carfax prior to purchase and made the trip to go see the car in person. I have traveled cross country to see my cars prior to completing the transactions for a lot less money. I'm very sorry for your loss here and I think that you have a solid case against the seller. I hope that they "make it right" for you and that you find your dream 993TT.

Get a lawyer immediately.

If this was Canepas, I'm truly disappointed. They seem to be held in such high esteem in our community.

Like in the new Mercedes Benz E Class Coupe commercial? They drove it right through the window of the MBZ Museum.

Would the Google 'way back machine' help finding previously posted internet info?

I guess Canepa is no different than any of the other slimey used car dealers along the freeway, just a nicer storefront.
