As a sidenote, the crankshaft used in this engine is a very low miles 996TT/993TT crank. If you look closely at the counter-weights you can see the blue paint. This is how the factory tells us which set of bearings we need to select for the crankshaft.
On early 935's and 962 engine cases the factory increased the intermediate case thru bolt to M10 X 1.50
This practice did not happen to normal street engine cases until the 996TT and GT3 was produced. I updated this case to the larger stud. With the turbo sump pump drive and larger oil pump the stress on the intermediate shaft requires more stability and clamp force.
When building a 102mm engine, one has the choice to either install slip in liners or bore the spigots. When one does this you give yourself a thicker more stable cylinder wall. Once bored, you need to install orings inside the case bore. If you do not, your case will leak.
If you look closely you can see the larger oil feed supply holes in the engine case. This full-flowing feature provides oil to the "now" cross-drilled crankshaft. By doing this oil will be fed to the crankshaft in multiple locations to prevent lubrication/cooling rod bearing issues.

A set of these units will be installed. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-turbo-forum/435994-ultimate-motorwerks-new-k24-26-turbocharger.html
I think that she'd make 500HP..

Those are certainly nice looking blowers. Be great to see the dyno results of the build....especially as you have your own dyno so there is some consistency. Keep us posted...I'd certainly be interested in such a beast if the performance numbers are there.

Mel;
You can turn a NA engine into a Twin but with all the turbo components (heads, pistons and cylinder liners).. at great cost.
I have a set of NA '95 heads that I can duplicate the mods on. Are you wanting to bump it to 102mm?

Honestly I would like to get more out of this car without having to buy a tt. I love my my car and wanting more out of it. It doesn't have to match the power of a tt but i need somwthing more. PM me the cost of the modded heads and any other ideas you would have. I am getting to that point where I have to make a choice of which way to go. My brother has Alvin old car (which I think has your turbos on it) and i need to just feel like I can keep up. Thanks again Kevin for the reply.
