Default Ride height for 993 Turbo S

I am in the process of buying a 1997 Turbo S and installing PSS9 struts.

Question - What is the correct factory ride height?

Facts - The Porsche manual states that the ROW ride height for the S is the same as the regular Turbo. However the articles and reviews from that period mention that the car was 15mm lower than the Turbo.

Thanks

P. eclou, now you know....

You might be comparing ROW Turbo S vs. US Turbo which was higher than ROw turbo.

The information I have shows them as being the same height.

In any case, you need to take it to RS height, and be sure you do the corner balance after installing the PSS9s.

My info shows;
Based on the same measuring point of A for the front and B for the rear

ROW Turbo and Turbo S - Front 144mm - Rear 127mm
USA Turbo and Turbo S - Front 174mm - Rear 157mm
RS ROW only - Front 124mm - Rear 107 mm

Is the RS height not too low for street use?

LAT, I have the same info for ride height..They (TT and TTS) are the same height.

The RS height is perfect for street + spirited driving + looks. There is some tolerance acceptable, you can set it to say 130mm in the front.. When you do the corner balance, all of this will be approximate.

Sorry to revive the thread,
ROW Turbo S is 17mm lower than the ROW Turbo and all suspension bushings are RS hardness (85 shores) from the factory.
Front is 127 mm - Rear is 110 mm

At the introduction of the Turbo S in Europe, all improvements or differences with the ROW Turbo, were offered as an upgrade option.
The ROW Turbo S chassis setup from Factory is mounted with option X73.
The original ROW Turbo S struts factory mounted, were the exact same Bilsteins on the Carrera RS
Factory ROW Turbo S alignment settings differ slightly from the ROW Turbo alignment settings.

15 mm lower and uniball, which make the car harder

I thought you would get bump steer when going RS ride height unless GT2 uprights are installed?
