Sebastian,

Thanks for the good thoughts. I'm safe in Moorpark, but am worried about our Orange and San Diego counties compadres.

Wow. I had just driven my family out of Southern Cal this weekend. It was crazy! North on the I-15 off of the 60 was very interesting. The kids were impressed with 4 tractor trailors on their sides! Many other semi trucks parked at underpasses, clouds of dust, tumbleweeds, lots of debris.....got to see two or three pickup truck bed liners and covers too! I lived in SoCal for over 30 years and don't ever remember the Santa Ana winds to be this catastrophic!!

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately the fire got our house. I lost my Ferrari CS, Porsche GT3 RS and Viper RT/10, as well as many other items. Very fortunately, no one got hurt.

Luckily, my E63 and Ruf were not at the house. I'll post some pictures when I'm allowed to check out the damage. My neighbor said my house burned to the ground.

Bill, very sorry to hear that - no one hurt, that is 100% the main thing

I went to high school in Santa Monica before Pali High was built, so a lot of my classmates lived in Malibu. Seemed like this was happening to them every other year during those days. Best wishes to you and your family.

My thoughts and prayers are within everyone in this area. It must be horrible to loose your home, but remember that all material things can be replaced....

Watching all of this happen around me, it's sad to hear that you are one of the unfortunates, Bill. Hopefully you will be working on a dream garage again soon!
