New to Rennlist (First post)
Hey guys! I have been a rennlist lurker for awhile but never posted, I've been ogling over 993 turbo's and especially over the members cars. So, at last I pulled the trigger and bought me a Guards Red 1996 993 turbo . I am new to air cooled porsche's, and I am just in love with this car.
One problem though, the car had a lot of vibration when I bought it. I figured the tyres had a flat spot and needed to be replaced. So I did that, the car is much better but it still has an annoying slight vibration at higher speeds( say 120 - 220km/h) and it increases at higher speeds.
Now I don't say that I am a speed freak, but a curvy road is heaven on earth for me. So I don't want to be on the other side of the road.
Any input on how to handle this case would be appreciated.
I do have pictures, but I am a noob and don't know how to upload them sorry I know the rule of the picture thing!
(And no those are not my keys on my avatar but I wish)

Welcome to Rennlist 993 turbo Bahrain,
If tires are new, I assume they did a balancing job on wheels+tires, then next thing is to check your brake discs for rust and solid brake pad dust that could be stuck inside the cooling holes, and "drill" them out. Other components such as bearings etc.. unevenly worn out disc brakes..etc..

Check out the thread "Input on Brakes" here:https://rennlist.com/forums/993-turbo-forum/360705-input-on-brakes.html
It is possibly the tie-rods or tie-rod bushings.
Oh, and welcome! You can upload your pictures to a free picture hosting sight (photobucket, etc.) and press the "Insert Image" button at the top of the "Reply to Thread" window. Insert the link for your image, and it will show up.

Thnx guys for the postive reply's
Thnx WHB Porsche, I uploaded on photobucket! (Guess I need to post more to upload, pics soon)
Yes the car is completely stock, with nothing done to it, anything lol. Except oil changes and a change of discs and pads ofcourse. Its a low mileage car.
Scott: The shocks have not been replaced. In the near future, when I research which suspension setup is best, will change the whole suspension setup. I hope that might cure it. I am leaning towards pss9's.
jean : yes they did a balancing job on wheels+tires, during the changes i took a pic, and the wheel well's+discs are dirty from brake dust. I will take your advice and let a specialist check them.
pics soon hopefully.
