I am trying to locate the correct 993 turbo script. Previous owner put a 996 turbo script when he installed turbo S wing. So far, i can only find 996 script. Anybody know where I might come across one?

Chris,
Another member, pezza, was looking for the same thing and he ordered the 965 Turbo script and said that it's a match with the 993 Turbo script (with a longer "hat" part of the "t").

FWIW:
The 993 part no. now superceeds to the 996 one...at least when I ordered the 993 part no., Porsche sent the 996 one as "proper" substitution. Hey... I thought there was no substitute !!!!
I'll check out the 965 route next time I am looking. Thanks.
On my TTS wing, I used the "jewerly guy" from EBay metal one. It's quite slick and looks better than chromed plastic.

Sorry Keith, that's not the one.
I checked my reciept and followed the link. The guy is no longer doing the script emblems. I suspect the "trademark police" got him.
It's too bad as it is softer looking than straight chrome.
Regards

Pretty damn sad in my opinion when the latest model year of a car is only 9 years old and you can't even get the proper badge anymore. DOesn't Porsche still make proper badges for cars from the 50's and 60's? Why is this any different?

Well, if it's truly exactly the same, then that's fine. THey should probably tell people that though.
So what can we do to get creative with the left over 3.6? You could by two sets, take the sixes and make em nines and use a 3 and HEY!!! You got yourself a 993 turbo.
And totally confuse the entire non-Porshce world in the process..."Hey what is that? It looks like a 911 but it says 993? I don't get it?!?
