There is a real trend here... Most of us seems to be between 30 and 40. Some exceptions, as usual.
I guess most of us went trough the same pattern:
When this car was launched in 1996, we were just out of school without $$ to afford it but we all told ourselves: "One day, a 993TT will be on my driveway..."

Could be that those under forty want to talk about there age and those older don't ? I'll let you know my age when I wake up from my nap

I'd bet we all feel about the same age when we're slingshoting through 3rd at full boost, or open the door to the garage and catch a glimpse of that fine looking body. What's that, about 10 years old?

Hey Scott,

... or you can calculate your age like OFE using Hexadecimal arithmetic.

Exactly - especially if that included a 3rd to 4th upshift on a track somewhere. I was asked recently - roughly - "did I remember what it felt like to be 18". My response was "I still feel like I'm 18". Although ....... I don't remember having the same dificulty doing "this and that" when I actually was 18.

Graduated college in 1987 and as a present to myself I bought a new 1987 BMW 535is at age 21. In 1988, realized I needed a toy and then bought a 1985 911 Carerra at age 22. In 1992, bought a 1972 911 restoration project at age 26. But sold the project a year later. Enjoyed the Carerra till 1998 until some jerk ran a red light and totalled my Carerra. Then bought a 1987 930 at age 32. In 2003, came across a great deal on a 1996 993tt and bought that at age 37. Sold my 930 in 2005 and have been a one P-Car man since.

Just to get the average up a bit and not let the young at heart feel like failures for starting so late, I got my 964 C2 at 43, 993 C2 at 46 and 993TT at 49...they obviously do not pay fresh grads here as well as they do in the States!

I am now an 18yrs-old-when-in-third-gear 51!
