Exactly...I wanted this car more then any other car before or since from the first time I saw it.
When I had put myself into a position to own it almost 10 years later I went for it and haven't looked back since. I don't see myself ever selling this car.
BTW I'm 28 now got it two years ago.

+1 - I was 17, and just getting my license. The dad of a friend of mine had one (guard's red/blk), and I have NEVER been as jealous in my life. 10 years later, and I have my dream car - the oldest car I've ever owned, and by far the best.

Wonder if the guy's dad still owns his, or if he sold it...

I'm a newbie. Never posted here before. Age 52 - will be 53 in a few weeks. Located in Atlanta. I bet I am the only 993TT owner here with an implanted cardioverter defribulator (ICD) in my chest. After a ride from here to our Lake Oconee home the adrenaline is pumping and my pacemaker kicks in. I tell everyone it is my personal onboard turbo - keeps my idle speed regualted. The 993TT is great therapy.

427 69 Camaro at age 19, bought it myself, had a good job as an ironworker. College at age 20. At your ripe old age of twenty something I satisfied my need for speed by flying fighters in the Navy and then the Air Force. After retirement I once again had to pay for my own toys thus a 96 Carrera, new. Now a 97 tt at age 56. C class Concours winner 2005 (Chicago PCA) and now Road America DE type. "Too young not to have fun".

i'm 25. bought my 993S @ 22
can't wait to get my 993TT this winter as my 26th birthday present to myself.

I got lucky with that whole pro athlete salary thing...my rule is i can buy an aircooled 911 for every rental property i own. I probably saved most of the money for the second one just by never drinking or gambling with my teammates
