Kevin is right Steve, they are the sump return lines. They put some extra bends in them and I'd need a camera about the size of your personal weapon to capture the photo.

I have photos of the andial return lines see here: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...l+return+lines

But, I thought we were talking about the venting lines. There is a way to re-route the venting hoses such that there will be no regurgitation of oil into the intake system.

Kevin, does the intercooler have to come out for this install?
Is this a DIY or should I just let my mechanic handle it?

Josh, the IC does have to come off to gain access to the spigot on the chain housings.

You will also have to remove your mufflers.. The most difficult thing with this job is not getting dirt or any debris to drop into the oil inlets on each turbocharger.

Yes, it is a DIY.. If you can change your oil and oil filters and air filter, you can do this job..

I did exactly as Kevin said with Changing to Porsche filters and reducing oil level. I used to get some blue smoke and every so often the big white clouds of smoke AT START UP. When I changed the oil I also took the intake hoses off the turbos and a lot of oil came out. Cleaned all of this up and after 2 weeks and several short trips and more than a week of sitting I have yet to get any blue smoke and no drips. I will also note that I switched to 15-50W Mobil 1 from the 0-40W that was in the car. A business contact that is lubrication business thinks 0-40W is not good enough for the air cooled cars and the latest recommendations from Porsche had the water-cooled cars in mind. It's your call...I be glad to keep any one posted on my results......Glad to hear there is a fix.....

Chinese knock-off turbos bolted to your 993tt engine - loving the sound of that.

I can think of about 5 people on here who it's just classless to hijack their threads with self-promotion. Kevin would be one.
