Default Tall Driver/Sport Seats/Helmet Clearance

Love the new p/car. But one unpleasant surprise is that my 6'3 frame is hard up against the head liner even with a steep recilne on the back. Has anyone fitted a sport seat that gives a couple inches of headroom. I'd love to participate in DE events, but I can't without a helmet.

GT3 bucket seats with Brey Kraus brackets (got them from Viperbob), not the 996 brackets that come with them. Also lowers the center of gravity as a bonus!

There is always a good opportunity to post a pic even if it is irrelevant

Bill, I am 6'3" as well and Jean is right, the gt3 seat is the answer. Here is a pic of my car with the passenger seat mounted to Brey Krause slider, and the drivers seat mounted to the floor with side attachment hardware. I have more headroom(with the top up of course) than in any car I have owned. Its amazing to actually see the smae view that most drivers get w/o headrail intrusion.

Jsandak, you might like the DELETED ACCESS option to the forum if you don't stop advertising for your car in this way buddy.

I don't have first hand (cheek?!) experience but have read that the Sparco sliders used with the BK brackets are lower than the Porsche brackets. The Sparco/BK combo is as low as you can go while retaining adjustability; for more headroom you need the BK brackets that bolt directly to the floor.

These look exactly like what I have, I cannot confirm the reference however, I love the handle, it is very practical.

BKNiep, I guess this answers your original question? You can use the BK brackets and these sliders.
