WOW!
VERY NICE S !!!
Congrats and have Fun

Going to look at the TT tomorrow.
There have been a couple dealers bidding on it but I think that the profit margin is shrinking and they will have to pass if the bidding gets any higher.

I will know how high I will bid after I see it....

I HATE E-BAY AUCTIONS!!!!!!!!!

WTF

First I call the Seller within hours of his new auction.
I offer to buy the TT for whatever his Reserve is and end the auction early.
He says "No" he wants to let the auction run it's course.
I say "OK, I understand..." but I would like to see the car before I run the bid up and buy it.
My intention was to Buy the Car!
We scheduled a time for me to see it tomorrow (12 hour drive for me round trip) and everything was on schedule until about an hour ago.
Some collector with more money than he knows what to do with offered to buy the car sight unseen for huge $$$.
I can understand that the Seller wants to sell the car for as much as he can get for it.
The Seller even told me that he is shocked to what the guy offered him.
He agrees that the car is not worth the dollars offered but of course he will accept the offer.
I told him that I did not want to get into a bidding war with someone with pockets that deep so I told him that if for some reason the deal falls through then I will still pay his auction Reserve.
BTW- He did disclose his reserve--- $90K
The offer he got for the TT was over his Reserve and it sounded like he would go higher if necessary.
At least the Seller called me today before I spent the time to look at it.
So now I am back looking for the rare BLUE jewel.
Again, I would consider ARENA Red as a second choice.
I might even start considering a TT S

If you are serious about a C2S, I have a friend wanting to sell his Arena Red/Gray car. 1997, he is the original owner. 20k miles. Perfect condition. He is expecting money in the $60s. Arizona car.

PM me if interested.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the offer but I am only considering TT's and if the right TT S were to come along.

Got it!

Always thought of the "S" as the C2S and forgot about the other "S".

Good luck.

Thanks for the lead.
I want to find something with low miles.
I am looking at TT's with less than 30,000 miles.
The E-Bay TT had less than 10,000 miles and was exactly what I hope to find.
Ultra low miles would be a great find.

It worked for me no problem.
Looks like a nice TT but it's not the one for me.

You guys have been great with all of the referrals.
I am sure that something else will surface, especially with all of the extra eyes helping me to keep a lookout on the market.
It will probably be a TT that is not actively being marketed or a new listing somewhere that somebody tells me about.

I sure appreciate everyone's efforts

Incredibly nice Turbo S - my congratulations. You cannot image how hard it is to find Turbo S with low mileage in Europe. I want one very badly, but all I have seen were at least with 35,000 miles..... I wonder why, but either there are no collectors cars or they aren't on the market. Just opposite to the US
