1997 PORSCHE 911 TURBO, 28K mi, paint to sample, metallic pearl teal, all options, rootwood dash, all records, window sticker, 30K serv complete, unique, $79,900, 714-743-4253

Thanks Craig,
I saw that listing also.
Strange thing about this listing....
I was close to Bakersfield yesterday so I called on this TT and left multiple messages throughout the day. The seller never called me back. I called in the early evening and someone answered and as soon as I asked about the Porsche they hung up! This happened 3 times!!! I don't have time to play games like this so I am going to pass on this one.

I appreciate your offer to look at it but I suspect that because it is advertised as a TEAL that it has too much green in it and not be a true Blue color.

I may ask for your opinion on another 993TT if/when I find something interesting.

I agree, repaint is always a possibility when non-standard colors are found.
Repaints are not desireable or acceptable to me when purchasing a vehicle of this caliber. I am always looking for hidden damages/repairs and different color under trim and body panels.

I appreciate the concern.

Hello DFarrow,

Thanks for the info on the book.
I am still learning about the 993TT and the book will be quite helpful.
I'll see if I can get one, or if anyone has a copy that they would like to sell please let me know.

Hi RobRoy,
I agree that most any color on the TT is appealing.
I think that the body lines have something to do with this visual appeal.
The AMARANTH is one color that I can appreciate but it is not the color that I want to see in my garage.

Kind of stuck on a BLUE as first choice with the Arena Red or a dark Charcoal as second choices.

I saw that one too but it has too many miles and also has a blue interior.
I hope to locate a '97 TT with less than 30k miles and preferrable with less than 20k miles. And yes, I am willing to pay a fair price when I find it.

Hello Red993TT,

Ahh yes! I have seen the pics of this GULF BLUE TT S on a couple of different sites, including Rennlist.
The Blue could work for me, although I do prefer a metallic.
This is another TT that I can admire.
The stripe is a bit over-the-top for my taste (pun intended!).

WOW!
Great responses guys.
I appreciate everyone's comments and suggestions.
I am prepared to continue looking for that ellusive '97 BLUE TT
If an ultra low miles '97 ARENA Red or dark CHARCOAL metallic in FLAWLESS condition became available I would have to seriously consider it.

Keep 'em coming...

Here is a Silver 993TT except for the "S" on the decklid. I know that Silver wasn't on your top 3 choices but worth a look. Good Luck.

Hi there Turbo 993
NICE!!!
Ocean BLUE I would have to consider.

The Blue cars are so rare that I have not seen an Ocean Blue in person.
Thanks for the photos.
Curious what the interior color is?
It does appear to be somewhat lighter than Midnight Blue, although I think I would still prefer Zenith Blue or Cobalt Blue.

Too bad your TT is not in North America and for sale.

Enjoy having the Blues....!
