Default Dansk Cats

OK Performance Products sells 100 cel cats made by Dansk. They are 1395 pair I think and you can usually wait around to get 20 percent off from PP. Has anyone bought these? And if so are they just the cores or are they the full pipe from turbo to muffler ?

I think the 993tt cats are $2,570 whereas 993 NA cats are $1,495 ...

They should be bolt-in replacements for the cuurent cats. But the TT price is steep; I'm guessing Kevin's larger diameter 100 cell cats are similarly priced and probably the better value.

Where can I found more information about these OK Performance Products?
I'm also seeking good 100 cell cats with reasonable price. Kevin's cats are very good(best?) but also very good priced, 3500

What is the fasination with 100 cel cats? Unless your putting out over 525 hp they will help you as much as bumper plugs. Dollar wise, you can hire Cort Wagner for a half a day to instruct you on driving a porsche.

Dyno comparisons that I have done show that the random technology cats are within 2% of the power from straight pipes. Far better than the stock cats.

We tested the 100 cel and got 7 hp increase at 550 hp on my old twin plug 3.6. The factory cats are very good inspite of what many of the sellers of these claim. My point is, the gains are not worth the costs unless you have a heavily modified motor.

While JJ is correct that if you unbolt your stock 400 cell cats and put on small diameter 100 cell cats your gains will be small. However, if you have a ECU that is tuned for large 100 cell cats your gain will pay dividends. Ruf 490HP kits come with the larger 100's, Sportec, RS Tuning, FVD, email them and ask them.. As JJ has mentioned, for a stock engine you will get gains.. I have mentioned that as these cars get years on them the stock cats are failing. Poor fuel and oil contamination from failed turbochargers leads to the downfall.
