Acropora,
The archives have a lot of information on this issue.
I tend to go overkill when it comes to these things. I would suggest a hard pipe kit, more expensive but could be cheaper in the long run. There are for sure many Rennlist sponsors that can get them for you. I know Devek is one as mentioned above, also you can get breeze clamps from Viperbob.
Good luck.

Hi guys. The problem with hard pipes (metal?) is heat soaking. The pipes wind up warming up to their local surrounding temperatures, whereas the rubber ones do so much less. Metal exhibits much heat conduction/transfer while rubber tends to be insulating. Food for thought.

Jaime,
You bring up a good point. There is a simple solution to this issue...
Two things I can recommend is:
1) Get the pipes Jet Hot coated (this will turn them black in colour so they blend in more with the engine compartment)
2) Buy a thermal blanket. Thermotec makes an adhesive-backed thermal blanket that you can wrap around the pipes. $55 buys you a 12"x24" section.
I use the Thermotec products on a number of cars and it works great. I wrapped my air boxes and plastic intake tubes on my 03 E55 and it made a world of difference on intake temp.
Just my $0.02...
