Anybody know the option code for the larger gas tank on the Turbo4?

Why not? The reverse is possible. Given enough ££££ anything is possible.

A question...Are you aware of any issues for retro-fitting the larger tank into a US car??? Vapor recovery issues???

No. I do not know the details. Perhaps you can ask Gert as he sells the bigger tank.
