It works for me and for others.
maybe it is the "~" before the ~y00033 which cause the problems
or go hier and use teh link on this site video 310 km/h

Impressive palmares Guy, beating an XJ220 and supercharged Vipers is not an easy thing especially at those speeds and with their great aerodynamics!
Konstantin your 200-300kph times (I have not measured) are close to the 996 GT2 RS Tuning 542hp, 1420Kgs which was tested at 17.8 seconds so you must be seeing around 550BHP too....and you said it was not running well while in Germany!.

hello
Since every speedo goes a little faster than the reality I would say we must substract about 10 km/h. Then the time is not so good and the enginehas 100 Hp less ;-)
I will make later a good run in cold wheather, only with one person inside, not full tank and 30% more boost.
If I will not be happy I must build a new engine again:-)

Anyone got specs on the Ruf RT12? 0-200km/h is reported sub 10s. But I have a slight doubt.

The numbers on the R Turbo seem a bit off. During the latest R&T test, the tested 996R Turbo managed the quartermile in 11.5 seconds with a trap speed of 126.5 mph <=> 204km/h, all tis with an impressive 0-60mph of 3.4s. I would guess 0-200km/h at around 11.2 sec.or so. I guess we are talking about the same cars?
Thanks.

Ruf quoted 9.9sec when the blue 590PS car was displayed at Essen in 2004, thats where I got it from - don't know how it was obtained.
The problem with magazine tests is they vary a great deal for the same cars between different drivers and conditions, this applies for every car. The only real way to compare is with the same driver on the same day.
If we are being sceptical about figures than I find the the RS Tuning 542bhp GT2 time impossible to believe. My car is faster head-to-head than every tuned Porsche I've been up against so far (RTurbo, chipped GT2 and Turbos, PSI 540bhp etc) and we race side-by-side to 300kph+. I've even matched Adams Ruf CTR with 520bhp in a side-by side race from 0-195mph and was 1mph faster through the timing beams. There is simply no way a car with 50bhp less than mine (the RS GT2) and with otherwise identical weight/aero is going to go 2 seconds faster from 200kph-300kph. I think a lot of tuners demo-cars are not quite the same spec as the customer cars.......

yes it is, if it is more aerodynamic efficient ;-)
thats true customer cars are not teh same as teh factory cars even in Racing ;-)

Since porsche build only 4 (FOUR) of these cars I had to build and tune the engine by my self.
It has only 3 L displacement and only 4 cylinders.
The car is the first 951 (944 Turbo) build and sold. It is a prototype factory car owned by Porsche R&D. I have it for over 15 years now.
I also have the first street 968 Turbo S One of the 14 ever build. Also a prototype car. I do not want to touch this car since it is very rare so I make the experiments with the 951. Who expects a 20 years old car with only 4 cylinders to be so fast.
Imagine the faces of drivers of Ferraris and other cars on the Autobahn when they get passt.

The funny thing is that Stuttgart does not recognize Konstantin's car as ever built It does not exist in their history books!
Guy, I agree with what you are saying re. the cars submitted for magazine tests and maybe the RS Tuning GT2 customer car is not as fast, or maybe it had heavy gearbox and aerodynamic mods, we will never know. However they do build fast cars as seen with TB993TT's stock weight 540 that does a 0-124mph in 10.9 seconds and 60-130mph in 7.7sec (datalogger and video I believe).
Other than the R&T article, Adam T. with his RTurbo had a run against a PSI 540 recently and stayed head to head with it during a 1 mile run or more. The PSi 540 is a 12 second car at best, (since the 3000lbs PSI RTS 650 is 11.2sec.).. Not to create a debate of RUF vs. RS (I unfortunatelky don't own any of them ) but I think the quoted acceleration numbers by RUF were a bit aggressive, unless I am missing sth.
