Default RSR Mufflers?

With Robin taking a break from making the awesome sounding exhausts, are there any alternatives that do similar modification to the stock cans?

Thanks!

I can't imagine spending any money for any mufflers on a 993TT. Just run a muffler bypass. You don't need no stinkin' mufflers. Lose some weight, add some cooling, and gain some HP.

I agree with Steve, go with bypasses. I received mine yesterday from FVD and are grat looking parts. I only need to fix my PITA electrical problem and put them on. Go with bypasses.

I Just installed my Fabspeed Bypasses this morning while I was waiting around for town hall to open! I was so excited to get them on that I didn't even wait til the exhaust was cool. I put on some gloves, took off the old muffler-tip unit and popped on the very attractive polished pipes. The whole exchange including putting the car on the lift etc took me about 45 min. I turned the key and WOW! I cant believe I hadn't done this mod yet. Thanks Viper Bob!

I appreciate the feedback on the bypass pipes, however I am not in favour of the way the bypasses sound, at least according to the videos on the fabspeed website. There is a local guy that had his mufflers RSR'd and they sound exactly how I want mine to be.

Are there any alternatives to the RSR?

Fc-racer. I have Tech EFX mufflers, and they sound quite lovely.
(They are even better with CAT bypasses. )
CAT Bypasses and Muffler Bypasses is a leetle too much for the street.

fc-racer;

I have posted the guts and the recommendation for the 993TT mufflers somewhere on this forum... Very simple-easy process!

Thanks Kevin and Scott, exactly the info I was looking for. I'll dig up more info on the Tech EFX and the stock muffler modifications. Thanks!
