Does anyone else find it odd that the last 2 bids were $90K and $99.5K? Why wouldn't the winner try smaller increments?

It's called hedging. He might have tried small increments and kept getting the 'outbid' warning until he actually placed a higher bid. Car sold very well if it did.

Looking for honest feedback to fairly price my stock 1995 Cabriolet and sell before the end of the year. Is $ 58-62 K a good asking range for relatively low mile, very clean no stories car? Owned since 1999 - second owner - bought at 9,000 miles.

Year:
1995
Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Cont. Porsche Models: 993
Mileage (numbers only please): 64550
Options (Please check ALL which apply): HiFI stereo, 17 inch cup wheels, Alpine CD player/radio installed at factory, wind deflector, Rennline black dead pedal, front coco mats
Color:Grand Prix White/blue top cashmere interior
VIN: WP0CA2999SS342139
Price (no $ sign please): TBD
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Southeast
Body Style: Cabriolet - clear window 3 year old top
Transmission Type: Manual - 6 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 2- Rear Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM-FM CD - HI-FI option
Tires - 4,000 miles
Servicing - Well maintained. Oil/Filters service just completed - no leaks - all leaks serviced over the years - typical lower valve covers and chain cover leaks handled. No accidents.
Issues - On-board computer light is not working. CD player slow to start playing CD, rear engine cover struts need replaced.
Title: In hand, no liens.

Check BAT for some recent sale comps. I would expect to get mid to upper $40s for your example. Looks clean.

Agree with Bloose. 42-50 is reasonable based on 6- speed cab sales in last 12 months.

That car on BaT is a nice looking car. The comments about the rain gutters having to be resealed bother me. In all my years with 911, 964, 993 I have never heard of the gutters having to be resealed or the use of a gasket in that seam.

Anyone have any thoughts on that issue?

I was wondering the same. I’ve never heard of this as an issue.

Agree. Does not compute. Perhaps he was thinking of the sunroof seal and the meaning got lost in translation?

"The seller had the wing and other plastic pieces repainted due to discoloration by Auto Krafters in Riviera Beach, Florida. The rain gutters were also resealed and repainted at the time."

My initial though was the sunroof too but after reading the comment again, it does not sound like it.
