Guess it's sold or owner changed his / her mind.

Looking to pick up a C2S with 30-50k miles, budget up to $100k. Anyone know of anything? Preferably white on black, but nearly all of them for sale at the moment that match what I'm looking for have factory aero package which I don't care for... Would love to get something before the month is out to enjoy for the fall before the snow starts falling!

Took me over 1.5 yrs to find the right one. C2S was the least imported to US at 1,752 cars sold. Only in 1997 = 759 and 1998 = 993. Heck that was 20+ years ago. It may take you awhile. Good Luck!

White on black is my favorite 993, especially Glacier.

There was a nice-looking silver on grey C2S at Suncoast Porsche in FL with sub-30k miles with an ask of <$110k, so you may be able to get it for less.

Your ask of 30-50k miles for under $100k is totally doable--it's just a function of time.

If you're open to a higher-mileage C4S to play with until you find your dream car, this one is available again: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...carrera-4s-12/ I kind of "won" it by mistake (that's what I get for playing around BaT!) and am just closing on two other 993s, so I have a full house.

I know Willhoit has a rep for crazy high prices, but then I've seen others say they bought from him at $20k off his asking on some cars. What does everyone think an actual current market price on this is:

http://www.willhoitenterprises.com/car672.html

I've made him an offer on another car before only to have him literally cuss me out in an email response about my offer (which BTW, he still has the car sitting there nearly 2 years later). I really don't want to deal with him, but he has the car...

I bought a pristine speed yellow 993 from him last year. A pleasure to deal with. I would buy from him again no problem. Worth every penny.

Did you find him fairly negotiable on the car? Feel free to PM me if you don't want details out there. I just don't want to waste his time if I know my budget is $100k.

I purchased my 928GTS from him in 2005 and he was a pleasure to deal with. I paid up but it was worth it and he stood behind his product. An experience very few offer. I have seen other similar cars sell for more so maybe he felt your offer was an insult??

He is a reasonable guy. His cars are above market quality. The one I bought I got what I payed for.

It was a different car I offered on previously. He ended up listing it on ebay with a starting bid lower than what I offered multiple times the following year and still never got it sold, so I don't think I was too far off. To be fair, it was on a Supra, not a Porsche, and I probably had more knowledge of the Supra market since that's not his specialty.

Starting bid doesn't mean anything unless there is NO reserve. With the white C2S currently listed, that price isn't terrible. Maybe if he would go down 4-5k it would be a great buy.
