Anyone removed their rear seats in a cab?...my dog doesn't fit in the seats.

Can't find a thread in it.

Sorry, can't help ya (see pic). While we're on the rear-seat-delete topic, does anyone know what the 4 black metal loops are for (see arrows in pic)?

I removed the rear seats from my 96 cab and replaced them with the rear seat delete hardware (from a re-cycler). The reult is EXXX-CELLENT!
It was some work getting the rear "pod" out of the car, but well worth the work. Besides the better use of the space and the better look, I now have a 2-seater for car pool lanes.
If you have any specific questions about the project, drop me an e-mail.

The best part about the rear-seat-delete is that you can put a subwoofer in each of the cargo bins, and still have room in them for storage.

Question re: delete kit...

hey guys... where can a rear seat delete kit be purchased? or do you just buy all the parts separately???

eric red-------dig your idea of the subs being placed in the bin area.

They come up on eBay from time to time but you can get them used from a parts dismantler (ie. LA Porsche, Road & Race, etc); depending on condition expect to pay $200-750. I was able to get a good deal on mine - I replaced the vinyl on the bin doors with black leather and had an upholsterer put on new tan carpet (my interior is tan/black). Just finished installing it this weekend although I still need to locate a harness for the electric locks.
